Geçtiğimiz yıllarda Halkların Demokratik Partisi (HDP) Şanlıurfa il Eş Başkanlığı görevinde de bulunan Mehmet Çiçek hayatını kaybetti.
Şanlıurfa’nın siyasetinde tanınan bir sima olan Çiçek’in cenazesi yarın öğle namazına müteakiben Abamor Camisinden alınarak, Çift Kubbe Mezarlığına defnedilecek.
Çiçek Ailesi’nin ise taziyeleri Hz. Yunus Camii Taziye Evi’nde kabul edeceği öğrenildi.
